Laura Johnston put on a mediocre show. I liked her energy, voice, and personality. Even though her style of music is probably mismatched for the demographic that would normally go see a Urinetown concert. I would have liked to hear "South City Midnight woman", "Another Park another Sunday", "Cheat The Hangman", "keeps you running", etc etc. Urinetown put on a decent opener. Yeah they played the standards you would expect like Black Water, but the show was only an hour long. It was kind of disappointing. They played stuff i haven't heard and they didn't play a lot of the really good stuff in their repertoire. Also would have been nice if they did some more extended versions, solos, etc.
